Denso promotes managers, TAEC elects chairwoman

Denso Products and Services Americas promotes members of management team.

Michael Small has been promoted to Senior Manager of National Accounts Sales and Marketing at Denso Products and Services Americas. With 11 years of experience at the company, he previously held the position of Manager of National Accounts.

Kelly Dickens has been promoted to Manager of National Accounts at Denso Products and Services Americas. With a tenure of six years, she previously held the position of Senior Account Manager.

Lisa Jinn has been promoted to Manager of Category Management at Denso Products and Services Americas. With 16 years of experience with the company, she previously served as Program Manager of Category Management.

Otto Jun has been promoted to Manager of Heavy Duty OEM/OES at Denso Products and Services Americas. With a remarkable 22 years of experience with the company, he previously held the position of Senior Account Manager.

Andrew Shlatz has been promoted to Manager of Heavy-Duty Aftermarket Sales at Denso Products and Services Americas. With a tenure of seven years, he previously served as National Sales Manager.

Shannon Newton, the President and CEO of the Arkansas Trucking Association, has been elected as the Chairwoman of the Trucking Association Executives Council for the term 2023-2024.

Newton has received several industry awards for her contributions to the trucking sector, including the prestigious 2017 Mike Russell Trucking Industry Image Award and the ATA President’s TAEC Leadership Award in 2018.

In addition to her role as the Chairwoman of the Trucking Association Executives Council, Shannon Newton is actively involved in various business and industry organizations.

She is a prominent figure in Arkansas’ “Be Pro, Be Proud” program, the Good Roads Foundation, the Arkansas Society of Association Executives, and the Arkansas Society of Professional Lobbyists.

Newton takes over the position from Joseph Sculley, the president of the New Hampshire Motor Transport Association. In the upcoming year, John Esparza, the president and CEO of the Texas Trucking Association, will serve as the TAEC vice-chairman.

The Falcon Crane Rodeo in Surrey, B.C., scheduled for September 16, will showcase the skills of crane operators.

The Falcon Equipment branch will host the event at 18412 96 Ave. from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Participants will have the chance to experience various Palfinger equipment and network with industry peers. The event will commence with a stability test demonstration and feature engaging activities such as crane rodeo, hook n’ hoop, and truck-mounted forklift ring toss games and competitions.
