BMW has recently launched the XM Label Red configurator on its website, allowing customers to customize their large SUV. The waiting list has been open since February, but this is the first chance to fully customize the vehicle, which has a starting price of $185,000.
In addition to the base price, there is a $995 fee for destination charges. The configurator offers a wide range of paint options, including metallic shades like Anglesey Green Metallic, matte finishes like Frozen Black, and colors like Ruby Black Metallic and Frozen Tulum Blue.
The XM Label Red configuration offers 22-inch double-spoke, bi-color M Light Alloys as the standard wheels, with the option to upgrade to 23-inch M Light Alloy Star-spoke wheels.
Buyers have a choice of different tire packages, including all-season, performance, and high-performance compounds. The pricing remains the same regardless of the selected wheel and tire package. Similarly, adding the Toronto Red exterior trim or M Sport brakes with blue or red calipers does not affect the final price.
The interior of the BMW XM Label Red remains consistent, featuring full Merino leather with red accents and carbon fiber M Signature trim. However, if you opt for the Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System, an additional cost of $3,400 will be added.
This premium sound system includes exclusive Diamond Dome tweeters, fully active amplification channels, and QuantumLogic Surround/Dynamic Sound Equalizing.
Similar to other BMW performance vehicles, customers have the choice to select the M Driver’s Package for an additional $2,500. This package not only increases the top speed of the XM but also provides a one-day high-performance driving class at the BMW Performance Center. The driving course offers the opportunity to participate in various high-speed exercises, allowing drivers to explore the limits of the XM in a controlled environment.
The last option to consider is selecting one of the BMW Ultimate Care+ bundles, which vary in price from $850 to $6,649, depending on the maintenance level and duration.
The highest-tier bundle, BMW Ultimate Care+ 4 Bundle, offers extended coverage and replacement of wear-and-tear components for an additional four years and 89,000 miles. This extends the total coverage to seven years or 125,000 miles, and it can be transferred if you decide to sell your vehicle.
The total cost, including destination charges, amounts to $198,544, which is just $12,549 higher than the base price. Despite being a limited edition package, BMW has deliberately kept the options list relatively restrained for the XM Label Red. In contrast, if you were to customize a base BMW X3 sDrive30i, the additional costs could easily exceed $17,000.
The BMW XM Label Red Configurator has been launched, allowing customers to customize their vehicles according to their preferences. The configurator offers a range of options for the XM Label Red, including paint colors, wheels, interior trims, and additional features.
The most expensive configuration available through the configurator is priced at $198,544, which includes destination charges. It is worth noting that this price represents the highest-priced configuration and includes various optional features and upgrades.
